Oceanfest Under 18's Surf 'n' Camp
We also accept small groups of well behaved under 18's. (minimum age 16) We are adjacent to the bus stop for the OCEANFEST service and the new SURF & CYCLE BUS. (Specially adapted bus to take Surfboards and Bikes to Saunton and Croyde). This is a new service to allow non-drivers to get straight to the beach with boards/bikes.. previously not permitted on buses. More Info.. http://www.northdevon.com/surfbus

Please note.. For under 18's and singles/group bookings (excepting parent/children families) we require credit card details held in trust to the value of £50 per person. This must be a credit card, not a debit card. This is a good behaviour bond and will not be taken from the card as long as there are no problems on site with the person "bonded". To simplify things this year we will also allow this to be paid in cash on arrival. To speed up booking in upon arrival this should be ready in a plastic money bag alrady with full individuals full details i.e. Name, Address, Telephone No. and email. For persons failing to collect this on departure there will be a £5 forwarding fee.

Families & Couples
We have a really nice level sheltered meadow ideal for families and couples. We have free hot showers, free Wi-Fi and a campers shelter with Fridge, Freezer, Microwave and Tea/Coffee making facilities. This is situated in a sheltered garden with picnic tables and is ideal for BBQ's etc. Please contact us for more info and availability.

Location & Facilities
Secret Spot Camping is situated at Moor Lane Nursery, tucked away just off the main Braunton- Croyde road just 2 miles from Saunton Beach.. Our Postcode is EX33 1HG. Our location is Convenient, Quiet and Secluded yet only minutes from the surf...
We are just a few hundred yards off the main bus route (+ New Surf Bus!), 2 miles from Saunton Beach. Croyde is just a few minutes by car.
We are only about 10 minutes level walk from Braunton the famous White Lion Surfers Pub in Braunton.
There are also plenty of places to eat in Braunton...Chinese, Indian, Turkish, Thai and award-winning Fish and Chips. There are several surf shops and a cycle shop. Secret Spot makes a great base for Surfers, Walkers and Cyclists.
All in all it's a great spot, just minutes by car along the main road to the Beaches or Braunton Village. yet we are surrounded by open countryside. Saunton Biosphere Reserve, Braunton Burrows, Crow Point, Velator Marshes, Braunton Greatfield, Swanpool Reserve etc. all a level bike ride away!
Although we offer limited camping we are primarily a Nursery specialising in Hanging Baskets, Bedding Plants and Cut Flowers. The number of days which we can offer camping each year is limited. We can only accept tents and small camper vans, sorry no Caravans or Larger Motorhomes.
We have level fields, pitches are not marked. Electric Hook-up is not available. We have free hot showers, free Wi-Fi and a campers shelter with Fridge, Freezer, Microwave,Tea/Coffee making facilities and a small washing-up area. This is situated in a sheltered garden with picnic tables and is ideal for BBQ's etc. . All ablutions are uni-sex, modest but clean and functional.
We can offer Surf-Hire and Surf Lessons in conjunction with The Little Pink Shop in Croyde. Surf Equipment can be pre-booked and we will have it waiting on site for you.. no queuing!

Due to local planning restrictions we only offer camping for a limited period each year.
The famous surf beaches of Saunton, Croyde Bay and Putsborough are just a few minutes away by car.
